Whyzy Town for grown-ups

Accessibility

We want every child and grown-up to be able to enjoy Whyzy Town.

On the children’s pages

  • Big buttons (at least 72 pixels) with plenty of space between them, and no double-taps or time limits.
  • Nothing plays until it is tapped. Every picture card can be heard, and the words are also shown on screen.
  • Sound, moving pictures and pause buttons are on every page. Motion switches off automatically if your device asks for reduced motion, and nothing flashes.
  • A simple town is available for older devices, slow connections or calmer play.
  • All buttons have text labels for screen readers, and the pages work with a keyboard.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This site is still being built, so if something doesn’t work for you, please tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
